Fixed: where are my Office 2011 AutoRecovery files? Posted on by MacManus.nl. /Users/ username /Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 AutoRecovery. That should give you a list of all files on your Mac with that file-extension. The first time that you use Office, a folder named Microsoft User Data is created in the Documents folder provided by the Mac OS. The Microsoft User Data folder contains an Office 2011 Identities folder that stores the Office database for each identity in its own folder. You can move the folder for an identity, or the whole Microsoft User Data. Can't find microsoft user data folder mac. 2016-9-2 I think my problem with finding a User Folder is I am the only user of my Mac. Maybe that is why the folder doesn't appear. I remember when using past OS systems seeing that folder on the bottom of my home column. I did need to find the Library folder due to other replies. Thank you for the suggestion. I should have remembered to detail the. Outlook for Mac search returns 'No Results,' and task items are not displayed. The Microsoft User Data folder is not located under the /Documents folder.
