  1. Set up Lync for Mac 2011 for Office 365 - How to get to the Lync for Mac 2011 download and install it Sign in to Office 365. At the top of your Office 365 page, choose Office 365 settings. Choose Install and manage software. Choose Skype for Business Install to download the Lync for Mac 11.
  2. Mar 30, 2020  As for Office 365, it will be rebranded as Microsoft 365 for personal and family plans next month. Pricing stays the same at $7 or $10/month, respectively and will officially debut on April 21st.
  3. Feb 11, 2014  I have dowloaded and installed the new Lync for Mac client. The connection to our local Lync server works fine but the connection to our Office 365 enviroment does fail. I am trying to connect the same way as on our windows Lync clients by writing the Office 365 e-mail adress on both the logon. The problem is now finaly solved:) Microsoft has.

Oct 11, 2011 October 21 – Microsoft Lync for Mac 2011 client update released today This update addresses two known issues: Lync for Mac sign-in into Office 365 Installation of Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 causes Lync for Mac to become inoperable The Lync for Mac client is supported with Office 365 however we have an issue under.

Basic client limitations

The features below are available using the Full client and are not available with the Basic client:

Online or Hybrid user account limitations

User accounts can exist either Online or On-premises, and that will affect the features available to that user. Users with accounts on Skype for Business Online will not have access to the following features, even with the Full client:
